Multi-Family Recycling Program
Golden Valley City Code requires all multi-family residences that aren't served by the City's curbside recycling program to provide their residents with the same level of recycling services. If you live in an apartment or other type of attached home (condo, townhouse, etc), check with the building manager or association about recycling procedures.
In most cases, large recycling bins are provided for each category of materials (containers, newspaper, and miscellaneous paper). They're usually located near the trash dumpsters.
Using the same system described for the curbside recycling program, separate recyclables in your apartment. If you don't have a recycling bin, paper bags work great. Next, take recyclables to the large recycling bins for your building and dispose of them correctly. If you don't wish to reuse your paper bags, they can be recycled with the miscellaneous paper.
